What do you want future generations to know about Lexington today? Join us on Tuesday, July 14th from 2:00-5:00 PM to Stuff the Capsule!
The project seeks to capture the voices, memories, experiences, and creativity of today`s residents for future generations. Community members are encouraged to submit letters, photographs, artwork, stories, poems, favorite memories, descriptions of daily life, reflections on community events, messages to future residents, and other flat, letter-sized items that reflect life in Lexington in 2026. The time capsule will remain buried for 50 years, to be unearthed in 2076.
